The National Gallery Singapore hosts the "Exploring Southeast Asia" group exhibition, focusing on three mid-20th-century Southeast Asian artists' "introspective gaze" at the "other." Eight artists were invited to respond to the works, replacing traditional texts. Photographer Masfufrei documented indigenous life, advocating for their dignity.
